Role Overview: The Sales Support Specialist serves as the primary contact for all project quotations, collaborating closely with sales representatives and external clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage directly with clients and work alongside Sales Representatives to foster and sustain strong customer relationships, driving profitable orders for our products.
  • Assist in qualifying customer inquiries, gathering complete project details, reviewing plans, and producing material take-offs. Reach out to general contractors as needed to gather bidders' lists and bid outcomes.
  • Prepare quotes, ensure order clarity and accuracy, create submittals, and estimate delivery timelines.
  • Manage maintenance bids, dealer relations, and accessory products as directed, adhering to established guidelines.
  • Utilize our information system to verify product availability and maintain a solid understanding of production, scheduling, and shipping protocols.
  • Coordinate inter-company orders as necessary.
  • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of our products, specifications, and pricing structures.
  • Handle all interactions professionally, promoting positive working relationships among office, plant, and sales teams.
  • Execute tasks in a timely, accurate, and professional manner.
  • Expand the customer base through cold calling, lead follow-ups, local sales visits, and other market development strategies.
  • Develop insights into the unique dynamics of the assigned territory, including customer relationships, pricing, and competition.

Qualifications:

  • Proven problem-solving skills with the ability to identify solutions for clients.
  • Results-oriented mindset with the capability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications.
  • Computer literacy is essential.
  • Able to interact effectively with various departments both internally and externally.
  • Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team-oriented approach.

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • A minimum of 2 years of administrative experience in a sales support role is preferred. Experience with drainage systems is a plus.
