Compensation Overview:
The pay range for this role is $22.56 - $26.11 per hour, in addition to a weekly production bonus. Our team members in this position have reported average annual earnings exceeding $82K.
Position Overview:
The Multi-Craft Maintenance Specialist will play a crucial role in our operations by ensuring the functionality of machinery and mechanical systems. Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting repairs and maintenance on machinery and mechanical equipment, including motors, pneumatic, hydraulic, and other systems.
- Performing skilled mechanical maintenance and industrial electrical tasks, including installation, repair, and troubleshooting.
- Analyzing equipment breakdowns during downtime and determining necessary repair actions to restore effective operation.
- Adhering to safety lockout procedures and maintaining excellent housekeeping practices to ensure a clean work environment.
This position reports to the Maintenance Supervisor and requires a strong work ethic and a commitment to following all maintenance practices. The ideal candidate should be capable of working independently and collaboratively, with a willingness to work weekends and holidays as needed.

Safety is paramount at Nucor Harris Rebar. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to uphold safety policies, practices, and procedures consistently.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; or one to three years of related experience and/or training; or a combination of education and experience.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in repairing and troubleshooting mechanical power transmissions and pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Vocational or technical school certificate in a related field.
- Experience with bearing installation, coupling, belts, sprockets, and chain drive installations.
- Familiarity with metal fabrication and basic cylinder repair principles.
- Knowledge of basic industrial electrical and PLC issues.
