Job Summary:

The Ophthalmic Photographer will be responsible for performing a variety of diagnostic imaging tests, including visual field testing, IOL Master, OPD, OCT, GDX, refractometry, and other specialized procedures. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of ophthalmic anatomy and be able to work effectively with patients and medical staff.

The successful candidate will be able to work calmly and respond courteously under pressure, collaborate with others, and accept direction. They will also be able to think critically, manage multiple assignments effectively, and prioritize their workload.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform visual field testing, IOL Master, OPD, OCT, GDX, refractometry, and other specialized procedures
  • Work with patients and medical staff to ensure accurate and efficient testing
  • Maintain accurate records and reports of testing results
  • Collaborate with other medical professionals to ensure effective patient care
  • Perform other duties as needed
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Three years ophthalmic photography experience; COA level competency required
  • Knowledge of ophthalmic and medical terminology
  • Able to keyboard 40 wpm and use computer software programs
  • Valid California Driver's license required
