Job Summary:

The Ophthalmic Photographer will perform a variety of diagnostic imaging tests, including visual field testing, IOL Master, OPD, OCT, GDX, refractometry, and other specialized procedures. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of ophthalmic anatomy and medical terminology, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform visual field testing and other diagnostic imaging procedures
  • Operate and maintain specialized equipment, including IOL Master, OPD, OCT, and GDX
  • Prepare patients for testing and ensure their comfort and safety during procedures
  • Process and archive images, as well as maintain accurate records
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Three years of experience in ophthalmic photography or a related field
  • COA level competency experience required
  • Knowledge of ophthalmic and medical terminology
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Licensures and Certifications:
  • Valid California Driver's license required
  • Ophthalmic Photographer's Society Membership preferred
