Job Summary:

The Ophthalmic Photographer will perform a variety of diagnostic imaging tests, including visual field testing, OCT, GDX, refractometry, and fundus photography. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of ophthalmic anatomy and be able to work effectively with patients and medical staff.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform visual field testing, OCT, GDX, refractometry, and fundus photography
  • Operate and troubleshoot medical imaging equipment
  • Process and archive medical images
  • Work with patients to prepare them for diagnostic testing
  • Collaborate with medical staff to ensure accurate and timely diagnosis
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Three years of ophthalmic photography experience; COA level competency required
  • Knowledge of ophthalmic and medical terminology
  • Ability to keyboard 40 wpm and use computer software programs
  • Valid California Driver's license required
