Job Overview

Davies Risk Services is seeking independent contractors to perform insurance property inspections for our carrier clients. As an Insurance Loss Control Specialist, you will work with policyholders to photograph and survey the overall condition of their properties, providing valuable information to our underwriters.

Key Responsibilities
  • Schedule appointments with property owners to conduct thorough property inspections
  • Photograph and evaluate the condition of properties, identifying potential areas of risk
  • Communicate effectively with policyholders, underwriters, and other stakeholders via phone, email, and in-person discussions
  • Observe commercial and residential properties to identify potential risks and hazards
  • Complete detailed reports of your findings and upload photos to our field service platform
  • Follow carrier instructions and maintain quality standards to ensure accurate and reliable results
  • Maintain confidentiality and act with integrity in all aspects of your work
  • Travel locally to conduct field inspections and meet with clients
Requirements
  • Reliable vehicle, computer, smartphone, and internet connection
  • Observant and detail-oriented with excellent communication skills
  • Ability to take high-quality photos and accurately measure square footage
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Basic computer skills, including typing, uploading, and downloading documents, email, and Microsoft Office
  • Background in construction, firefighting, safety, real estate, or previous military service is beneficial, but not required
  • Must reside in the advertised geographic area
