Job Description

At McLeod Centers for Wellbeing, our mission is to provide compassionate and steadfast support for patients' journey to recovery.

We are seeking a Part-Time Substance Use Counselor to work in our Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) program in Concord, NC.

Key Responsibilities
  • Craft person-centered treatment plans for patients in all stages of recovery.
  • Monitor and evaluate client progress, adjusting treatments as necessary for optimal outcomes.
  • Lead individual and group counseling sessions to support patients and their families.
  • Connect patients with vital support services, such as medical evaluation, mental health, and social support.
  • Participate in clinical supervision sessions to foster professional growth and development.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a Human Services field.
  • Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor-Intern Certification (CADC-I).
  • Master's degree with a valid license or associate license in one or more of the following disciplines: LCAS, LCSW, LCMHC, LMFT.
