Job Description

Avenues Recovery Center is a nationwide network of drug and alcohol rehab centers with a strong commitment to evidence-based clinical care. As a Substance Abuse Counselor, you will play a vital role in helping individuals overcome addiction and achieve long-term recovery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create individualized treatment plans for each client
  • Conduct individual, group, and family therapy sessions
  • Take responsibility for all clinical needs and services for your client caseload
  • Prevent and intervene in crisis situations
  • Maintain accurate documentation of client progress and challenges

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in psychology, counseling, or a related field
  • Valid state licensure or certification to practice in this role
  • Excellent observational, collaborative, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
