Job Summary

The General Office Associate plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office. This position is responsible for greeting visitors, answering phone calls, and coordinating the flow of products with vendors and stores. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to multitask, and have a strong attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greets visitors, vendors, and customers in a professional manner
  • Operates the switchboard or telephone console to route incoming calls
  • Coordinates and expedites the flow of products with vendors and stores
  • Schedules and coordinates efficient distribution of products to meet store demand
  • Analyzes and revises shipment plans as required
  • Works with other departments to ensure store satisfaction and accuracy of shipment records
  • Investigates overdue vehicles and communicates with customers to expedite or locate missing, misrouted, delayed, or damaged merchandise
  • Prepares documentation for domestic or international shipments and maintains records accordingly
Requirements

The General Office Associate must have the ability to use computer systems and knowledge of operational reports and procedures.
