Sales Territory Manager

This role offers a competitive estimated salary of $80,000 - $110,000 based on location and experience. The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for the sale of DMG MORI products to provide innovative solutions to customer work requirements on DMG MORI machine tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- CUSTOMER RELATIONSHIPS: Building and fostering strong customer relationships through regular visits and communication.
- SALES GROWTH: Promoting the sale of Company products, and providing technical sales support to drive sales growth.
- EQUIPMENT ASSESSMENT: Conferring with Applications Engineers to assess equipment needs and recommend improved materials or machinery to customers.
- PROPOSALS: Developing, presenting, or responding to proposals for specific customer requirements.
- ENGINEERING SUPPORT: Partnering with engineering staff for demonstrations and resolving difficult engineering issues.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university.
- Associate's Degree from an accredited university and 5+ years' of B2B relevant sales.
- 2-5 years in B2B sales/Business Development.
- Recent experience in machine tool environments preferred.
Travel Requirements:
Frequent travel is required, with a minimum of 25 visits per week to customer facilities. Semiannual visits to OEM factories in Japan, Germany, Italy, and China are also required.
