Position Overview:
The Clinical Nurse II position in the Intensive Care Nursery involves caring for critically ill newborns. Our Special Care Nursery and Intensive Care Nursery together provide care for over 1000 infants annually, including those with complex medical conditions.

Responsibilities:
As a Clinical Nurse II, you will:
1. Deliver professional nursing care in accordance with established policies and procedures.
2. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
3. Utilize nursing judgment to tailor care plans based on patient assessments.
4. Supervise and delegate tasks to other nursing staff.
5. Participate in professional development and performance improvement initiatives.

Work Schedule:
This is a full-time position with rotating shifts, requiring a minimum of 2-4 weekend shifts per month.

Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates must:
- Have at least 1 year of clinical nursing experience.
- Hold a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or an equivalent qualification.
- Possess current RN licensure in North Carolina or a compact state.
