Role Responsibilities:
The Pediatric Gastroenterology Department is committed to delivering outstanding care to our patients. This role involves providing triage support and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure an excellent patient experience. Key responsibilities include:
- Managing triage calls, resolving issues, and coordinating follow-up with healthcare providers.
- Assisting with medication refills and referral management.
- Coordinating diagnostic testing and outpatient appointments.
- Educating patients and families on care plans.
- Delegating tasks to unlicensed care providers.
Work Schedule:
This is a full-time position with hours typically falling within a standard Monday to Friday schedule.

- Multitasking in various capacities, including documentation of assessments and care plans.
- Building relationships with patients, families, and the healthcare team.

Qualifications:

- BLS certification is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Two years of nursing experience, including one year in pediatrics.
- Experience in telephone triage or care coordination.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
