Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver outstanding customer service.
  • Monitor and identify potential threats, trends, and incidents that may jeopardize the security of personnel, facilities, operations, and reputation.
  • Engage in detailed report writing, demonstrating a solid understanding of critical incident escalation.
  • Handle sensitive and confidential information with minimal supervision.
  • Collaborate with all risk functions to develop and document policies, procedures, and controls for departmental processes.
  • Coordinate security personnel and police details as necessary.
  • Actively oversee and facilitate security-related incidents.
  • Evaluate threats based on incoming data and make informed decisions.
  • Participate in various Physical Security projects, including technology implementation, employee identification, access control, and video monitoring.
  • Monitor access control systems and respond appropriately to alarms, breaches, or malfunctions.
  • Respond to security operations notifications and requests from internal and external parties.
  • Collaborate with emergency medical services, fire departments, and law enforcement during emergencies.
  • Support onsite contract security personnel.
  • Conduct open-source research to address specific inquiries and develop intelligence products.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or an associate's degree with relevant experience preferred.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in a Global Security Operations Center (GSOC), central station monitoring, or equivalent.
  • Ability to successfully complete a thorough screening process.
  • Experience in shift work within a 24-hour operational environment.
  • Possession of an active New Jersey SORA license.
  • Security, military, or law enforcement experience is a plus.
Skills Required:
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills; call center experience preferred.
  • Strong documentation, investigative, and report-writing abilities.
  • Intermediate computer proficiency.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other PC-based applications.
  • Internal presence, intellect, energy, and determination to excel in a high-performance setting.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and managing large volumes of data.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks amidst competing demands.
  • Collaborative mindset and ability to support a team environment.
  • Capability to work independently.

Physical Requirements:
  • Occasional travel may be necessary.
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks, operate standard office equipment, and respond promptly to auditory signals.
  • Capability to sit, stand, walk, squat, bend, reach, and move safely in confined spaces.
  • Ability to lift and carry weights up to 25 lbs.
  • Proficient in reading, writing, and comprehending instructions regularly.
