Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform patient assessments and provide appropriate treatment and transport according to established protocols.
  • Accurately document patient information, treatment, and transfer of care.
  • Operate an ambulance safely and efficiently, adhering to driving policies and ensuring the vehicle is properly maintained.
  • Maintain equipment and property in a safe and secure manner.
  • Participate in training and orientation of new staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
Requirements
  • Previous BLS experience preferred.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Graduate of a recognized Emergency Medical Technician-Basic Training Program.
  • Certified as an Emergency Medical Technician – Basic by the Commissioner of Health & Senior Services of the State of New Jersey.
  • Current certification in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) to the professional rescuer level, and EVOC.
  • Valid Driver's license recognized by the State of New Jersey and driving record must meet insurance company standards/requirements.
