Role Summary:

The Orlando Division of Ashton Woods and Starlight Homes is seeking a Land Acquisition Specialist to deliver essential administrative support across the Land Acquisition, Entitlement, and Development sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Establish, manage, and finalize both physical and digital project documentation.
  2. Review, categorize, process, and monitor financial requests and electronic transactions related to land entitlements and development activities.
  3. Oversee vendor registration and ensure compliance with insurance requirements.
  4. Maintain and ensure the completeness of project files for each community.
  5. Create and update tracking systems for land vendors and projects.
  6. Distribute critical date reminders to team members.
  7. Support the bidding and contracting process for land development, including the preparation and dissemination of bid packages, as well as drafting award and rejection notifications.
  8. Perform administrative duties such as filing, photocopying, scanning, and document distribution.
  9. Act as a communication bridge between the land department and other organizational units, facilitating the distribution of necessary materials.
  10. Organize and maintain files and binders.
  11. Draft letters, memos, transmittals, and emails.
  12. Coordinate courier services, express mail, printing, and reproduction tasks.
  13. Assist the HOA manager in organizing and updating relevant documents.
  14. Provide general administrative support to the Land Team.

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; a college degree is preferred.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in land, development, or accounting administration is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and the ability to adapt to new software.
  • Experience in the homebuilding sector is preferred.
