Internal Wholesaler

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Internal Wholesaler to join our team at Angel Oak Capital Advisors. As an Internal Wholesaler, you will play a critical role in generating sales and meetings for our investment products within a specified geographic territory.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop leads and actively solicit new investment product sales and meetings through strategic business development and relationship-building efforts.
- Schedule meetings for our External Wholesaler with prospects and existing producers, ensuring seamless communication and coordination.
- Manage prospects and producers throughout the entire sales cycle, providing exceptional customer service and support.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to stay up-to-date on industry trends and market conditions.
- Document all daily activities, such as relevant business interactions, to ensure accurate tracking and reporting.
- Prepare investment marketing materials and presentations to effectively communicate our products and services.
- Support sales and client/asset retention efforts for our External Wholesaler partner, fostering strong relationships and driving business growth.
- Develop and maintain strong product, industry, market, and economic knowledge to provide expert guidance and support.
- Adhere to all compliance/firm guidelines and requirements, ensuring a high level of professionalism and integrity.
- A goal-oriented, highly motivated, organized, and self-directed individual who consistently strives to exceed expectations.
- A positive attitude, high level of activity, and motivation to surpass goals and increase sales within their territory.
- A Bachelor's Degree from a four-year college or university, preferably in Business, Economics, or Finance.
- At least 3 years of experience in financial services, with a strong background in sales and business development.
- Prior Internal Wholesaling or Financial Advisor experience is highly preferred.
- FINRA Series 7 and 63 or 6 licenses, as well as a clean U-4 record.
- Proficient knowledge of MS Office and strong written, sales, presentation, and communication skills.
- A competitive, results-oriented mindset and ability to work well in a team environment.
- A strong understanding of asset allocation and portfolio construction processes.
- Knowledge of investment trends, financial concepts, real estate, and credit markets.
- The ability to grasp and articulate complex topics, as well as communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
- Knowledge of financial advisor practices and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-focused environment.
- A motivated and outgoing personality, with strong interpersonal skills and a coachable attitude.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
