Job Overview

As a Field Service Engineer at Agilent, you will be responsible for providing expert technical support to our customers in the installation, implementation, maintenance, and repair of our analytical instrumentation solutions. This role requires a strong understanding of spectroscopy instrumentation and a proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.

Key Responsibilities:

Installs and optimizes hardware and software configurations at customer sites
Diagnoses and resolves product performance problems
Performs maintenance and repairs
Ensures customer satisfaction by advising customers on preventive maintenance and configurations
Proactively responds to potential equipment issues to prevent unplanned interruption of customers' business

Requirements:

BS Degree in Sciences (STEM degree)
Strong logical troubleshooting skills
4+ years' experience with spectroscopy instrumentation (ICP-MS, ICP-OES, MP-AES, AA, FT-IR, UV-VIS)
Hands-on maintenance, installation, and repair experience with analytical instruments is desirable
Knowledge in environmental, geological, and metallurgical analysis applications is highly desirable
Strong customer relationship skills
Availability for up to 25% travel, including overnight stays
Compliance with site access requirements, including medical information, drug testing, or background checks
