Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Executive Director to lead our community development efforts at Lake Caroline Owners Association. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing business operations, implementing strategic plans, and ensuring the association's mission and vision are achieved.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management
    • Provide strategic direction and oversight to ensure the association's goals and objectives are met.
    • Lead and manage a team of staff to achieve operational excellence.
  • Communication and Teamwork
    • Develop and maintain effective relationships with the board, committees, and membership.
    • Communicate key decisions and activities to the membership in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Financial Management
    • Work with the board and finance committee to develop and manage the annual budget.
    • Ensure financial resources are managed in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.
  • Facilities and Common Grounds
    • Maintain amenities and common grounds in good, safe working order.
    • Oversee minor repairs and maintenance of equipment, facilities, and common grounds.
  • Programs and Services
    • Administer program activities that support a sense of community among the membership.
    • Work with the ARC to administer the architectural review process.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience in community development, property management, or a related field.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with the board, committees, and membership.
  • Knowledge of financial management principles and practices.
