Job Description

Waters is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Development Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving the sales of our comprehensive PFAS solutions to the rapidly growing PFAS analysis market in the US region.

Responsibilities
  • Aggressively develop new prospects and penetrate existing and competitive accounts
  • Meet or exceed PFAS sales targets
  • Develop and execute a Strategic Key Account plan to achieve sales growth
  • Maintain installed-base customer satisfaction
  • Support local trade shows and customer events to gain a deep understanding of customer needs and identify growth opportunities
  • Visit customers regularly to highlight Waters PFAS solutions and help customers overcome technical obstacles
  • Build technical competency on Waters solutions and be perceived by customers as a credible resource
  • Maintain current knowledge on PFAS analysis market dynamics, regulations, application trends, and competitive information
  • Provide information to marketing team to enhance business development programs
  • Fully utilize Sales Contact Management Tools and Applications
  • Submit accurate and timely monthly sales forecasts and monthly plan of action
  • Travel within the territory, with overnight travel may be required and international travel as needed
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree or Master's, or PhD in a scientific area such as chemistry, biology, or environmental science
  • 3+ years of experience in Mass Spectrometry and Chromatography
  • Experience with PFAS, environmental, or food testing markets
  • Sales and/or Marketing experience a plus
