Job Summary:

The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a team in Columbus, Ohio, ensuring high-quality service delivery to key accounts. This role involves driving the Leadership Engagement Growth & Safety (LEGS) strategy, developing and maintaining relationships with clients, and implementing processes to maximize service standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct and manage key operational functions to ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with on-site clients to ensure trust and engagement.
  • Implement cost-effective resources to maximize service standards and ensure a safe and respectful work environment.
  • Develop and monitor operating costs within functional areas and build a culture of work safety.
  • Hire, train, develop, and appraise staff effectively, taking corrective action as necessary.
  • Manage budget and control expenses effectively, using the Microsoft Office-based cost management system to audit budget for account.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of leadership experience leading a complex and multi-site team, with janitorial, distribution services, or other service-related industry experience preferred.
  • Strong leadership, team building, and coaching skills, with the ability to motivate people, assess and develop employee skills.
  • Highly motivated and results-oriented, with strong analytical and decision-making skills.
  • Exceptional customer service, excellent oral and verbal communication skills, and a strong continuous improvement mindset.

  • Meet or exceed net income growth targets, client retention goals, employee retention goals, management development goals, and safety performance standards.
