Job Overview

We are seeking a Senior Care Specialist - Medication Management to join our team at Sunrise Senior Living. As a key member of our community, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest level of care and services are provided to our residents.

Responsibilities

">

The successful candidate will be responsible for administering medication and treatments in a safe and organized manner. This will include:

  • ">
  • Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians">
  • Documenting medication administration and resident interactions">
  • Maintaining accurate records and reporting any concerns or issues to the Resident Care Director (RCD) or Wellness Nurse">
  • Participating in daily Cross Over meetings and contributing to the development of Individualized Service Plans (ISPs)">
  • Following safety procedures and protocols, including infection control and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) usage">
  • Reporting any accidents or incidents immediately and participating in risk management and general safety initiatives">

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • ">
  • A high school diploma or equivalent">
  • Certifications such as CPR and First Aid">
  • Previous experience working with seniors, preferably in a healthcare setting">
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills">
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks">
  • Compliance with Sunrise's policies and procedures, including confidentiality and data protection">
