Senior Commercial Roofing Operations Manager

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Commercial Roofing Operations Manager to join our team at Progressive Roofing.
Job OverviewThis is a senior-level position that requires extensive experience in commercial roofing project management, with a strong focus on operational excellence, financial management, and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, ensuring timely completion, budget adherence, and high-quality results.
- Collaborate closely with estimators, superintendents, and foremen to review project information, including contracts, budgets, job requirements, and submittals.
- Create and manage project estimates, tracking costs, and identifying opportunities for cost savings.
- Schedule regular meetings with stakeholders, including pre-job, in-progress, and close-out meetings, to ensure seamless communication and project execution.
- Maintain accurate records of project progress, including time-tracking, material inventory, and warranty documentation.
- Ensure compliance with all contractual obligations, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A degree in a relevant field (e.g., construction management, engineering) or equivalent experience.
- No less than 5 years of experience in commercial roofing project management, preferably with a background in estimating, scheduling, and cost control.
- Detailed knowledge of various commercial roofing systems, materials, and installation methods.
- Experience directing large-scale commercial roofing projects, including interpreting roofing plans, determining roof types, estimating materials, and creating construction documents.
- Strong understanding of local building codes, electrical, and plumbing codes, as well as solid working knowledge of construction site development and procedures.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
You will be working in a fast-paced environment with exposure to potentially hazardous materials and situations. A keen eye for safety and adherence to protocols is essential.
Physical DemandsThe role requires occasional physical activity, such as climbing ladders up to 40 feet tall, working at heights, and using personal protective equipment.
Estimated Salary: $85,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience.
