Job Overview

The Beaver Companies is seeking a highly skilled Senior Construction Operations Manager to lead our project teams in Columbus, OH. This role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of construction project management, ensuring timely completion, and maintaining high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning and Execution: Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets to meet client expectations and company objectives.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor project managers, engineers, and other staff members to ensure effective collaboration and communication.
  • Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks and challenges that may impact project timelines, budgets, or quality.
  • Cost Control: Monitor and manage project costs, including labor, materials, and equipment expenses, to ensure profitability and compliance with company financial goals.
  • Client Relationship Management: Foster strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members to ensure open communication, trust, and satisfaction.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree: In Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • 5+ Years of Experience: In construction project management, preferably in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Organizational and Time Management Skills: Proven ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in MS Office, construction software, and other relevant tools and technologies.

Compensation and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary range of $95,000 - $125,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off. The estimated salary range is based on industry standards and the location of Columbus, OH.
