We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Director of Strategic Partnerships. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the process of building a complete and competent team, developing meaningful needs-based relationships with clients, and delivering operational excellence to all clients.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Team Building
    • Recruiting, training, and developing associates to ensure a high-performing team
    • Workforce planning to ensure skill development and cross-training
    • Managing associate performance for the long term
    • Building a winning culture consistent with company values
  • Client Relationship Development
    • Understanding clients' wants and needs and delivering services that meet those needs
    • Ensuring responsible promises are made to clients
    • Addressing and problem-solving client concerns in real time
    • Promoting and marketing the business and additional services to clients
  • Operational Excellence
    • Ensuring all services exceed client expectations
    • Maintaining the facility and equipment in working order
    • Ensuring compliance with governing laws and regulations

Performance Metrics

The success of this role will be measured by:

  • Revenue growth
  • Number of strategic clients
  • Net Promoter Score

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of training and experience
  • Five years of management experience
  • A passion for service and a love of dogs
  • A high level of self-awareness and willingness to change
  • A demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • The ability to plan at least six months in advance
  • An ability to multi-task
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Internet savvy
