The MetLife Data & Analytics organization is a specialized team dedicated to harnessing data and analytics to drive insightful strategies and enhance customer experiences through effective data governance and scalable AI solutions.

This team serves as a center of excellence in data architecture, analysis, engineering, and advanced analytics, including AI solutions.


Opportunity Overview:

As AI continues to gain significance in various business functions, this role is pivotal in spearheading the ideation, development, implementation, and adoption of AI solutions across multiple lines of business.

This position offers a unique chance to facilitate AI-driven business transformation at MetLife, setting the company apart in the marketplace.

Collaboration will be key, as this role works closely with business, technology, operations, data management, and data science teams to align on business benefits and comprehensive solution design.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Promote awareness and integration of advanced AI capabilities across diverse product lines and global regions.
  • Engage with business stakeholders to understand critical priorities and challenges, developing thorough business cases for AI integration that clearly articulate benefits.
  • Align AI initiatives with strategic objectives to meet business goals and influence decision-making regarding AI feature prioritization.
  • Lead the design of AI solutions by gathering insights from business teams and collaborating with the data science team to define a detailed approach.
  • Partner with enterprise data architecture and platform teams to design end-to-end solution architectures.
  • Implement advanced data governance practices to ensure responsible and ethical AI deployment.
  • Continuously assess and measure the impact and ROI of AI solutions, ensuring they deliver substantial business value.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor and expert on AI-related topics.
  • Stay informed about emerging trends in AI and the industry, providing innovative insights to business and data teams.
  • Ensure the scalability and reusability of AI solutions across various products and regions.
  • Conduct thorough evaluations of AI vendors and lead thought leadership on AI development and best practices.

Essential Experience and Skills:
  • 8 to 10 years of experience in AI product management and/or management consulting.
  • Proficient in AI and machine learning techniques/tools, with a strong focus on AI-related projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of end-to-end AI solution architecture design.
  • Proven ability to drive business strategies through the delivery of AI use cases, demonstrating advanced AI solution capabilities.
  • Exceptional communication skills, capable of delivering structured problem-solving and storytelling presentations.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, technical environment, with experience in agile delivery models and iterative AI development processes.
  • Strong technical acumen and a passion for leading AI initiatives.
  • Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field.

  • Ability to conduct open-ended discussions and connect AI initiatives across the organization.
  • Experience in assessing AI impact, demonstrating the significance of AI work and operationalizing AI product outputs.
  • Collaborative approach to evaluating business impacts and effectively communicating AI advancements.
  • Proven track record in building partnerships and trusted relationships across cross-functional teams.
  • Customer-centric focus, ensuring the creation of exceptional customer experiences through AI innovation.

Compensation:
The salary range for this position is $130,000 - $182,100.
