The MetLife Data & Analytics organization is a collective of specialists dedicated to leveraging data and analytics to drive strategic insights and enhance customer experiences through robust data governance and scalable AI solutions.

This team serves as a center of excellence in data architecture, engineering, and advanced analytics, including AI solutions.


Position Overview:

As AI continues to gain prominence in various business functions, this role is pivotal in spearheading the ideation, development, implementation, and adoption of AI solutions across multiple lines of business.

This position presents a unique opportunity to influence AI-driven business transformation at MetLife and create market differentiation.

The role requires close collaboration with business, technology, operations, data management, and data science teams to ensure alignment on business benefits and comprehensive solution design.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Promote awareness and integration of advanced AI capabilities across diverse product lines and global regions.
  • Engage with business stakeholders to understand key priorities and challenges, developing thorough business cases for AI integration that clearly outline business benefits.
  • Align AI initiatives with strategic objectives to meet business goals and influence decision-making regarding AI feature prioritization.
  • Lead the design of AI solutions by gathering insights from business teams and collaborating with the data science team to define a detailed approach.
  • Work with enterprise data architecture and platform teams on comprehensive solution architecture design.
  • Implement advanced data governance practices to ensure responsible and ethical AI deployment.
  • Continuously assess and measure the impact and ROI of AI solutions, ensuring they deliver substantial business value.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor and expert on AI-related topics.
  • Stay informed about emerging trends in AI and the industry, providing innovative insights to business and data teams.
  • Ensure the scalability and reusability of AI solutions across various products and regions.
  • Conduct thorough evaluations of AI vendors and lead thought leadership initiatives on AI development and best practices.

Essential Experience and Skills:
  • 8 to 10 years of experience in AI product management and/or management consulting.
  • Proficient in AI and machine learning techniques/tools, with a strong focus on AI-related projects.
  • Deep understanding of end-to-end AI solution architecture design.
  • Proven ability to drive business strategies through the delivery of AI use cases, demonstrating advanced AI solution capabilities.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to present structured problem-solving and storytelling effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, technical environment, with experience in agile delivery models and iterative AI development processes.
  • Strong technical expertise and a passion for leadership in driving AI initiatives.
  • Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field.

  • Ability to facilitate open-ended discussions and connect AI initiatives across the organization.
  • Experience in assessing AI impact, demonstrating the value of AI work, and operationalizing AI product outputs.
  • Collaborative approach to evaluating business impacts and effectively communicating AI advancements.
  • Strong track record in building partnerships and trusted relationships across cross-functional teams.
  • Customer-centric focus, ensuring the creation of exceptional customer experiences through AI innovation.

Compensation:
The salary range for this position is $130,000 - $182,100.
