Position Overview

First Meridian Services is in search of a dedicated and organized Full-Service Restaurant Manager to oversee our bustling dining establishment, La Casita. This role is ideal for individuals who are flexible, employee-focused, and committed to delivering exceptional customer service in a high-volume environment.

Key Qualifications

  • Bi-lingual candidates are preferred.
  • No prior kitchen management experience is required.
  • A minimum of 3 years in a supervisory role within the restaurant or food service industry.
  • At least 1 year of management experience is preferred.
  • A genuine passion for providing outstanding guest experiences consistently.
  • A servant leadership approach with a readiness to learn, grow, and mentor others.
  • Proficient in computer applications (MS Word, Excel).
  • Must pass a 10-year criminal background check.

Core Responsibilities

  • Deliver positive guest service across all areas; promptly address complaints to ensure guest satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Manage labor scheduling by forecasting business needs while meeting staffing and labor cost targets.
  • Oversee all financial and personnel-related administrative tasks, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Implement and maintain sanitary practices for food handling and cleanliness in both kitchen and dining areas.
  • Conduct interviews, hire, train, and develop staff while fostering open communication.
  • Create a safe, enjoyable, and rewarding work environment for all team members.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements & Work Environment

  • Availability to work during holidays, weekends, early mornings, and evenings as needed.
  • Ability to stand and remain active for extended periods (up to 12 hours).
  • Position entails bending, moving, stooping, twisting, prolonged sitting, and repetitive hand and wrist motions. Must be able to lift and carry items weighing up to 25 lbs.
