Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineering Manager to join our team at Jobot. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing the daily engineering activities and directing the maintenance of all manufacturing equipment and processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Maintenance Procedures: Create and implement preventive and predictive maintenance procedures to minimize machine downtime and ensure optimal equipment performance.
  • Lead Maintenance Team: Direct and supervise a team of maintenance workers in electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic maintenance and repair of machinery and equipment.
  • Manage Maintenance Budget: Prepare and manage the maintenance budget, including capital project planning, emergency and routine maintenance, preventive maintenance, and machine lubrication.
  • Ensure Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all maintenance work is properly tracked and documented in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and that all regulatory requirements are met.
  • Improve Production Methods: Analyze and recommend measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.
Requirements
  • Strong Knowledge of Manufacturing Processes: Possess a strong understanding of manufacturing processes and industrial equipment.
  • Leadership and Management Skills: Proven leadership and management skills, with the ability to direct and supervise a team of maintenance workers.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in capital project management, budgeting, and CMMS systems, as well as design software and engineering tools.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interpret and communicate technical information to non-technical personnel.
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering: Possess a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 Years' Experience: Have a minimum of 5 years' experience in engineering or maintenance management, with a strong background in manufacturing processes and industrial equipment.
