Position Overview

The Senior Business Systems Analyst plays a crucial role in understanding business processes and implementing effective software solutions. This position is essential for successful project execution.

The analyst will serve as a systems solution expert, responsible for identifying, assessing, refining, and documenting business requirements from various teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate business processes to identify inefficiencies and risks, proposing cost-effective solutions for system design.
  • Create functional specifications and collaborate with cross-functional and development teams to deliver technical solutions.
  • Review and contribute to design and configuration documents.
  • Conduct unit, integration, and regression testing.
  • Support production processes and associated business systems functions.
  • Work with IT and business teams to enhance and streamline processes and technical solutions.
  • Identify gaps in business processes and prioritize improvements using the Business Capability Matrix (BCM).
  • Facilitate meetings with business users to gather process information for effective system solutions.
  • Collaborate with the development team to ensure business needs are met during the development phase.
  • Assist business teams with reporting requirements in conjunction with the data warehouse team.
  • Conduct quality assurance validations and lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Support and train users on new system configurations, emphasizing the impact on business processes.
  • Maintain the integrity of IT business systems, including application notes, system upgrades, and user updates.
  • Collaborate closely with onsite and offshore teams, managers, and executives to ensure high-quality solution releases.
  • Adhere to the change management process and assess the impact of changes on the corporate application landscape.
Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in SAP EWM/WM functional implementation and support.
  • At least 1-2 full life cycle implementations of SAP EWM/WM.
  • Experience with inbound and outbound processes, including Warehouse, VAS, Picking, Packing, HUM, Cross docking, Yard management, Physical inventory, Shipment, and return processes.
  • Proficient in designing labels, Barcode Scanners, and RF implementation with ITS Mobile.
  • In-depth knowledge of SAP Supply Chain and Logistics Execution modules.
  • Experience in other SAP functions such as MM, PP, and SD.
  • Ability to work with business end users, gather requirements, and create detailed functional design specifications.
  • Strong mentoring skills and the ability to guide team members.
  • Capable of working independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Excellent multitasking abilities in a fast-paced setting.
  • Strong attention to detail and consideration of cross-functional impacts.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Education:

Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience is required.
