Position OverviewThe Senior Business Systems Analyst plays a crucial role in understanding business processes and implementing effective software solutions and systems. This position is essential for successful implementation.
As a systems solution expert, you will identify, assess, refine, translate, and document business requirements from various teams.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate business processes to identify inefficiencies and risks, proposing cost-effective solutions for system design.
- Develop functional specifications and collaborate with cross-functional and development teams to deliver technical solutions.
- Review and contribute to design and configuration documents.
- Conduct unit, integration, and regression testing.
- Support production processes and associated business systems functions.
- Work with IT and business teams to optimize and streamline processes and technical solutions.
- Identify gaps in business processes and prioritize improvements using the Business Capability Matrix (BCM).
- Facilitate meetings with business users to gather process information for effective system solutions.
- Collaborate with the development team to ensure business needs are met during the development phase.
- Assist business teams with reporting requirements in conjunction with the data warehouse team.
- Conduct quality assurance validations and lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Provide support and training to users on new system configurations, emphasizing the impact on business processes.
- Maintain integrity of IT business systems, including application notes, system upgrades, and user updates.
- Collaborate closely with onsite and offshore teams, managers, and executives to ensure high-quality solution releases.
- Adhere to the change management process and assess the impact of changes on the corporate application landscape.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in SAP EWM/WM functional implementation and support.
- At least 1-2 full life cycle implementations of SAP EWM/WM.
- Proficient in handling inbound and outbound processes, with knowledge of Warehouse, VAS, Picking, Packing, HUM, Cross docking, Yard management, Physical inventory, Shipment, and return processes.
- Experience in designing labels, Barcode Scanners, and RF implementation with ITS Mobile.
- Strong understanding of SAP Supply Chain and Logistics Execution modules.
- Familiarity with other SAP functions such as MM, PP, and SD.
- Experience in collaborating with business end users to gather requirements and develop detailed functional design specifications.
- Ability to mentor and guide team members as necessary.
- Capable of working independently with minimal supervision while effectively interacting in a team environment.
- Strong multitasking abilities and effectiveness in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to consider cross-functional and downstream impacts.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience is required.
