Location: Remote
Role Summary:
The primary responsibility of this position is to assist in the evaluation and enhancement of requests across various first-party and third-party applications. This role emphasizes collaboration with business stakeholders to accurately articulate problem statements, requirements, and prioritization, translating these into comprehensive technical specifications for engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze user requirements and facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Communicate project status updates and gather additional information as necessary.
- Manage multiple requests across diverse business and engineering partner groups.
- Support long-term initiatives by collaborating with solution designers to create Functional Requirement Documents (FRD) and Business Requirement Documents (BRD).
- Organize and oversee UAT processes and assist in hypercare operations.
- Maintain clear and timely communication regarding status updates, obstacles, and additional information required for processing enhancement requests.
- Work closely with requestors to define problem statements, success criteria, and business priorities.
- Validate business justifications and impact statements submitted by requestors.
- Organize requirements and collaborate with stakeholders and engineering partners to address follow-up inquiries.
- Quickly familiarize with various internal tools and applications to retrieve necessary information.
- Apply effective design and system governance principles to refine and prioritize stakeholder requirements.
- Learn and assist in refining enhancement request and project processes.
- Handle escalations from stakeholders while balancing empathy with organizational priorities and engineering capabilities.
Required Skills:
- Extensive experience in requirements gathering and definition.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- In-depth knowledge of solution design and business system governance.
- Familiarity with business applications and architecture.
- Experience with Workday is preferred but not mandatory.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline such as Management Information Systems or Computer Science (or equivalent experience).
Mandatory Skills:
Strong experience in requirements collection and definition, effective communication skills, problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and interpersonal skills.
