Position OverviewThe Senior Business Systems Analyst plays a crucial role in understanding business processes and implementing software solutions and systems. This position is essential for successful implementation.
The analyst is a systems solution expert who identifies, assesses, refines, translates, and documents business requirements from various teams.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate business processes to identify inefficiencies and risks, proposing cost-effective solutions for process and system design.
- Create functional specifications and collaborate with cross-functional and development teams to deliver technical solutions.
- Review and contribute to design documents, configuration documents, and functional specifications.
- Conduct unit, integration, and regression testing.
- Support production processes and all related business systems functions.
- Work with IT and business teams to optimize and streamline business processes and technical solutions.
- Identify gaps in business processes and prioritize improvements using the Business Capability Matrix (BCM).
- Facilitate business user meetings to gather process information for effective system solutions.
- Collaborate with the development team during the development phase to meet business needs.
- Assist business teams with reporting requirements in conjunction with the data warehouse team.
- Conduct QA validations and lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Support and train users on new or modified system configurations, emphasizing the impact on business processes.
- Maintain the integrity of IT business systems, including application notes, system upgrades, changes, and user updates.
- Work closely with onsite and offshore teams, managers, and executives to ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions.
- Adhere to the change management process, assessing the impact of changes on the corporate application landscape.
- Provide mentorship to team members for optimal solutions and conduct peer reviews for continuous improvement.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Minimum of 8 years of functional implementation and support experience in SAP EWM/WM.
- At least 1-2 full life cycle implementations of SAP EWM/WM.
- Experience with inbound and outbound processes, including knowledge of Warehouse, VAS, Picking, Packing, HUM, Cross docking, Yard management, Physical inventory, Shipment, and return processes.
- Proficient in designing labels, Barcode Scanners, and RF implementation with ITS Mobile.
- Comprehensive understanding of SAP Supply Chain and Logistics Execution modules.
- Experience in other SAP functions such as MM, PP, and SD.
- Ability to work collaboratively with business end users, gathering requirements, and developing detailed functional design specifications.
- Strong mentoring skills to guide team members as needed.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, effectively interacting in a team environment.
- Capable of multitasking and performing effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to work autonomously while considering cross-functional and downstream impacts with meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience is required.
