Position Overview

The Senior Business Systems Analyst is well-versed in business processes and implements software solutions and systems effectively. This role is crucial in the implementation phase.

As a systems solution expert, the analyst identifies, assesses, refines, translates, and documents business requirements from various teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate business processes to identify inefficiencies and risks, proposing cost-effective solutions for process and system design.
  • Develop functional specifications and collaborate with cross-functional and development teams to deliver technical solutions.
  • Review and contribute to design documents, configuration documents, and functional specifications.
  • Conduct unit, integration, and regression testing.
  • Support production processes and all related business systems functions.
  • Work with IT and business teams to optimize and streamline business processes and technical solutions.
  • Identify gaps in business processes and prioritize improvements using the Business Capability Matrix (BCM).
  • Facilitate business user meetings to gather process information for effective system solutions.
  • Collaborate with the development team during the development phase to ensure business needs are met.
  • Assist business teams with reporting requirements in conjunction with the data warehouse team.
  • Conduct QA validations and lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Provide support, assistance, and training to users on new or modified system configurations, emphasizing the impact on business processes.
  • Maintain the integrity of IT business systems, including application notes, system upgrades, changes, and user updates.
  • Collaborate closely with onsite and offshore teams, managers, and executives to ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions.
  • Adhere to the change management process, assessing the impact of changes on the corporate application landscape.
  • Mentor team members to identify optimal solutions and offer peer reviews for continuous improvement.
Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in SAP EWM/WM functional implementation and support.
  • At least 1-2 full life cycle implementations of SAP EWM/WM.
  • Proficient in handling inbound and outbound processes, with knowledge of Warehouse, VAS, Picking, Packing, HUM, Cross docking, Yard management, Physical inventory, Shipment, and return processes.
  • Experience in designing labels, Barcode Scanners, and RF implementation with ITS Mobile.
  • In-depth understanding of SAP Supply Chain and Logistics Execution modules.
  • Familiarity with other SAP functions such as MM, PP, and SD.
  • Experience working with business end users to gather requirements and create detailed functional design specifications.
  • Ability to guide and mentor team members as needed.
  • Capability to work independently with minimal supervision and in a collaborative team environment.
  • Strong multitasking abilities and effectiveness in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and consideration of cross-functional and downstream impacts.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Education:

Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
