Job Title: Branch Manager

Firefighters First Federal Credit Union is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic leader to join our team as a Branch Manager in our Thousand Oaks, CA branch.

Job Summary:

The Branch Manager will be responsible for leading and developing their team, providing after-hour member support, attaining production goals, and expanding membership while delivering legendary member experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage all regional office operations, including performing routine audits and fulfilling fiduciary responsibilities.
  • Ensure members' needs are met through a consultative approach, going above and beyond whenever possible.
  • Promote membership expansion by networking with local fire stations, unions, professional firefighter organizations, and attending events.
  • Handle escalations, including researching and responding to member inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Effectively manage lending and deposit pipelines.
  • Forecast and schedule teams to provide members with adequate coverage each day.
Leadership Responsibilities:
  • Regularly meet with team members to coach and mentor to ensure alignment around FFCU's mission, vision, and values.
  • Provide team members with training, tools, and resources to successfully perform their jobs.
  • Hold teams accountable for meeting all service level agreements and provide coaching, feedback, or training as needed.
  • Provide and ensure development opportunities are available for team members as part of their overall career path with the Credit Union.
  • Lead change by identifying opportunities that consistently raise the bar and improve service levels.
  • Assist the Credit Union with executing the business plan of the organization.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience as a branch manager or a financial services branch representative.
  • Experience supervising or managing employees.
  • Experience with sales and operations at a financial institution.
