Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Merchandise Associate to join our team at HomeGoods. As a Merchandise Associate, you will play a key role in delivering an exceptional customer experience by engaging with customers, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and adhering to operational and merchandise standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, responding to their needs, and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment by adhering to visual merchandising standards, restocking shelves, and participating in store recovery.
  • Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including ringing sales, handling returns, and counting change.
  • Promote credit and loyalty programs to customers and provide information on store promotions and events.
  • Support the sales floor team by assisting with merchandise processing, stocking, and replenishment.
  • Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment for customers and colleagues.
Requirements
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule to support business needs, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills, with attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Previous retail customer experience preferred.
