Job Summary:

The purpose of this role is to:

  • Develop and execute a wholesale production strategy to yield profitable revenue from new clients and expanded services from existing clients.
  • Maintain and expand existing Lockton client relationships in terms of quality and value.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide in-depth product expertise to Lockton associates, producers, clients, and prospects.
  • Plan and set strategic direction for winning new and retaining existing client accounts.
  • Manage the relationship with prospects and existing clients, demonstrating strategic leadership to maintain and develop prospect and client relationships and inform servicing requirements.
  • Maintain and demonstrate an active pipeline.
  • Sponsor, lead, and support specific Crisis Management knowledge and revenue growth.
  • Implement an appropriate communication plan on targeted prospects.
  • Interact with business leadership, as appropriate, to ensure the client experience meets Lockton standards.
  • Develop Lockton Crisis Management intellectual property to identify and innovate in new and existing industry sectors.
Requirements:
  • Broad knowledge of all insurance classes with expert understanding of Crisis Management.
  • Broad understanding of general business commercial challenges, opportunities, and financial reporting.
  • Understanding of insurance requirements of commercial organizations in different industries.
  • Ability to prepare and execute strategic direction by demonstrating a deep understanding of a client's business, sector, possible challenges, and opportunities.
  • Ability to identify opportunities for business development and pursue with success.
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to delegate as appropriate.
  • Ability to demonstrate thought leadership.
  • Highly professional and tactful negotiation and persuasion skills to achieve production objectives and maximize on value-added services.
