Job Overview

Agil3 Technology Solutions LLC (A3T) is seeking a dedicated Information Assurance Specialist to join our team in providing essential support for Information Technology (IT) and Cyber Security (CS) initiatives within a federal government framework.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform comprehensive vulnerability assessments of the organization's systems, providing actionable recommendations for risk mitigation and security architecture enhancements.
  • Engage in the research, development, testing, implementation, and documentation of approved changes as directed by the task manager.
  • Assess the current centralized logging network capabilities and forensic procedures, alongside certification and accreditation processes.
  • Investigate and analyze technological challenges and program requirements in alignment with established security standards.
  • Conduct daily scans and monitoring of assigned systems utilizing tools such as Tripwire, Tenable, and Web Inspect. Generate detailed reports from collected data and present findings during weekly Information Assurance meetings.
  • Immediately report any security breaches to the Information System Security Officer (ISSO), who will determine the appropriate response.
  • Create specific documentation and user guides tailored to the needs of the organization.
  • May assist in the management of equipment and accounts on the client's networks.
Qualifications:
  • Possession of a Top Secret Clearance is mandatory.
  • A high school diploma coupled with ten (10) years of relevant IT experience and eight (8) years in Information Assurance/Cybersecurity, or a bachelor's degree in a related field with eight (8) years of relevant IT experience and five (5) years in Information Assurance/Cybersecurity.
  • Security+ certification or a higher credential is required.
  • Demonstrate professionalism in all interactions with clients and team members.
  • Exhibit sound judgment and provide exceptional customer support in a professional manner.
Preferred Attributes:
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • CASP or higher-level certification.
  • Experience in program management for small to medium support service contracts involving multiple subcontractors.
  • Strong communication and briefing skills.
  • Familiarity with cost, schedule, and performance metrics related to program execution.
  • Experience in a program office environment.
