Job Overview

We are in search of a Lead Construction Project Executive specializing in Wastewater and Drainage Initiatives.

Position Summary:

The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in managing complex construction projects, particularly in the areas of wastewater, sewer, drainage, and stormwater management. This role is pivotal in ensuring project quality, adherence to schedules, and overall client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee multiple construction projects from initial planning through to completion, ensuring they remain on schedule and within budget.
  • Conduct comprehensive market analysis to secure competitive pricing and high-quality services from subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Delegate project management responsibilities effectively to team members to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Address and resolve performance-related issues with project teams, escalating matters to senior management when necessary.
  • Incorporate robust safety protocols into project plans to mitigate risks.
  • Manage change orders for additional work outside the original contract scope.
  • Facilitate the completion of final project tasks and ensure thorough project close-out procedures are followed.
  • Identify and communicate procurement needs to management to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Collaborate with the Superintendent to monitor daily crew productivity and project progress.
  • Foster positive relationships with all stakeholders, including team members, subcontractors, clients, and regulatory bodies.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to Project Managers, ensuring alignment with project goals.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated expertise in all aspects of construction management.
  • Proven experience in leading teams effectively.
  • Ability to conceptualize project outcomes and strategically phase work.
  • Prior experience in construction management or related fields is essential.
  • Familiarity with construction management software tools.
  • Strong leadership, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on meeting deadlines.
  • Ability to interpret and analyze construction plans and specifications.
  • A minimum of 7 years of project management experience, with at least 2-3 years dedicated to wastewater and drainage projects.
  • Proven success in managing large-scale projects from inception to completion.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards in wastewater and drainage engineering.
