Position Overview

The HR Information Systems Specialist will be instrumental in the administration, configuration, and upkeep of our UKG HCM system and associated HR applications.

This role is pivotal in maintaining data integrity and offering user support to optimize HR processes.

The ideal candidate will possess experience with HRIS systems and a solid grasp of HR practices.

Compensation:
$70,000 - $85,000 (based on education and relevant experience)

Key Responsibilities:


Provide daily assistance to HRIS users, resolving inquiries and troubleshooting issues related to security access, workflow processes, time management, reporting, and general configuration of all modules within the Ultimate Kronos Group (UKG) HCM platform.

Key modules include onboarding, recruitment, Core/PRO, and Workforce Management (WFM).


Collaborate with UKG and other vendors, as well as internal stakeholders, to address issues promptly and efficiently through support cases, while implementing system modifications and enhancements through service requests.


Engage in HRIS projects, such as system upgrades, new feature rollouts, and process automation initiatives, working closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, develop project plans, and conduct functional and user acceptance testing to ensure successful project outcomes.

Ensure adherence to relevant regulations and internal policies, including SOX compliance.

Conduct routine system audits and data validation to guarantee data integrity and accuracy.

Assist in maintaining system security and the confidentiality of sensitive HR information.

Support system configurations and modifications to align with organizational needs.

Help prepare reports, dashboards, and analytics to meet HR and business requirements.

Contribute to the development and maintenance of reporting tools and techniques.

Assist in creating and updating user documentation, training materials, and system guides.

Conduct user training sessions to enhance system knowledge and utilization.

Identify opportunities for process enhancements to improve system efficiency and user experience.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.

A minimum of 2-3 years of experience with HRIS systems.

Familiarity with UKG HCM modules is preferred.

Essential Skills:
Proficiency in HRIS systems, with a preference for UKG HCM experience.

Understanding of human resources concepts and practices.

Experience with system integrations and data migrations.

Ability to handle basic issues, escalating more complex matters to senior staff.

Demonstrates critical thinking skills to gain a deeper understanding of roles, processes, and procedures.

Proactive self-starter with strong organizational skills and a goal-oriented mindset.

Good project management skills with experience in supporting HRIS initiatives.

Confident in challenging existing processes by exploring innovative solutions and identifying opportunities for improvement.

Knowledge of SOX compliance and IT controls.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 applications (e.g., SharePoint, Excel, Teams).

Work Environment:
A fast-paced work environment that requires focus under pressure.

Attention to detail is crucial, requiring concentration on one or two tasks at a time.

High pressure from deadlines, project management, and accuracy demands.


Participation in an on-call rotation schedule among HRIS team members to provide production support during non-business hours.


Travel Expectations:
10%-15% annual travel for team workshops or project-related initiatives.


This role may require travel on short notice to provide critical business support.


This is a remote position, with initial travel required for onboarding and training.
