Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and self-driven Insurance Business Development Specialist to join our team at Mike Hoffman - State Farm Agent. As a key member of our agency, you will play a vital role in developing customer relationships within the community to promote State Farm products including auto, home, and life insurance.

Responsibilities:
  • Generate new leads, quote prospects, and schedule appointments.
  • Identify coverage gaps and market appropriate products & services to customers.
  • Making insurance proposals to potential clients (in-person and on the phone).
  • Establish relationships and follow up with potential clients.
  • Work with the agent to establish and meet call/sales goals.
  • This position requires a high amount of outbound calling, including cold calls to potential clients.

Requirements:
  • Excellent communication skills – written, verbal, and listening.
  • Extremely self-motivated and able to work in a team environment.
  • Maintain a positive and strong work ethic with a total commitment to success every day.
  • Must be very well organized and able to multitask in high-pressure situations.
  • Knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel).

What You’ll Get:
  • A salary of $45,000 - $60,000 per year, plus commission/bonus.
