Job Profile

We are seeking a Senior Associate in Financial Risk Management who will be instrumental in advancing our risk management initiatives. This role involves collaborating with key stakeholders to foster a robust risk management culture and implementing proactive risk management strategies.

The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrating the ability to work independently, identify opportunities for improvement, and adapt to shifting priorities.

Key Responsibilities

- Cultivate and maintain productive relationships with stakeholders in the finance department to enhance operational resilience and act as a catalyst for change.

- Oversee and execute the Financial Risk Management program for core technology initiatives.

- Engage with leadership to communicate key process risks and necessary actions.

- Drive risk management projects to fruition, delivering enhanced practices while collaborating with stakeholders to address complex challenges under tight deadlines.

- Lead engagement activities related to process assessments, internal audits, and regulatory obligations for designated areas.

- Coordinate efforts across various organizational lines to prioritize and achieve results.

- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the current risk profile within business areas, identifying strategic and emerging risks.

- Advocate for proactive risk management initiatives to mitigate residual risks.

- Ensure transparent communication regarding progress and obstacles.

- Stay informed on effective risk management practices and control strategies.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

- Strong analytical, integrative thinking, judgment, and communication capabilities.

- Proven ability to build partnerships with diverse business stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

- A minimum of 2 years of project management experience.

- At least 5 years of experience in audit, risk management, or regulatory compliance, particularly within the financial services sector.

- Professional certifications such as CPA or CIA are advantageous.

- PMP or Agile certification is preferred.
