Wealth Management Advisor in Manhattan

Position Overview
We are seeking highly adaptable professionals who excel in both business development and client relationship management. This role demands an exceptionally driven individual who is committed to achieving success. The ideal candidate will thrive in a high-activity sales environment, as selective business development approaches are not effective in this context.
The successful applicant must possess the ability to network and cultivate relationships from the ground up with legal professionals, accountants, estate executives, insurance agents, and others who can connect them with high net worth individuals poised to become clients. Once these individuals are onboarded, the Advisor will assist them in formulating investment strategies tailored to their unique financial circumstances. A thorough understanding of the strategies utilized in each portfolio is essential, as actual investment decisions are made by the firm's investment policy teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and strengthen client relationships both before and after retirement, delivering a distinctive experience that highlights the unique value proposition of the Wealth Management Group.
- Act as the primary contact for high net worth and affluent clients, as well as key institutional influencers.
- Enjoy a competitive compensation package.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree.
- Possession of NASD Series 7 and 66 (or a combination of 63 and 65) along with the necessary state insurance licenses.
- Preferred certifications include Certified Financial Planner (CFP), Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC), or Chartered Mutual Fund Consultant (CMFC).
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a financial sales role providing planning services to high net worth clients.
- A proven track record in generating sales and managing relationships with high net worth clients, including extensive technical knowledge in retirement products, general investment matters, and relevant tax and estate planning issues.
- Demonstrated ability to comprehend a client's unique financial situation, offering suitable advice and solutions while showcasing financial leadership.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to build face-to-face relationships with clients, along with being a collaborative team player.
- Experience with client relationship management systems.
