Position Overview:


The role of a Private Banker is essential in promoting private banking solutions to entrepreneurs, executives, and influential professionals within a designated area.

The individual in this position is tasked with managing client relationships in private banking to ensure high satisfaction levels while identifying opportunities for cross-selling banking, wealth management, and insurance services. Collaboration with fellow bankers and associates is crucial to meet service goals.

The Private Banker is committed to delivering exceptional service to all clients.


Key Responsibilities:


1. Promote private banking offerings to business leaders, professionals, and key influencers in the assigned region.

2. Build a robust referral network by engaging with internal associates across Commercial, Retail, and Wealth sectors, as well as external influencers such as real estate agents, accountants, and legal advisors.

3. Collaborate with various business lines to ensure a consistently high level of service regarding loan processing, underwriting, account management, and wealth and insurance services.

4. Maintain and enhance existing private banking relationships, offering quality advice and cross-selling relevant products and services.

5. Ensure regular communication with clients to maximize relationship potential.

6. Analyze personal financial documents, tax returns, and credit reports to support loan approvals.

7. Create cash flow schedules and prepare credit memoranda for loan requests, while reviewing legal documentation and managing client negotiations.

8. Continuously enhance knowledge in private banking, focusing on consumer and mortgage underwriting, personal finance, wealth management, and insurance.

9. Exhibit strong interpersonal skills, professionalism, and initiative in interactions with prospects, clients, and colleagues.

10. Perform additional duties and projects as assigned.

Qualifications:


Education: BA or BS required.

Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a relevant field.

Skills: Strong organizational, analytical, and interpersonal abilities; excellent written and verbal communication; attention to detail; proficient customer service skills; ability to utilize job-related software, including basic MS Word and intermediate MS Excel; capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Demonstrated success in sales activities and cross-selling is preferred, along with strong underwriting skills and experience with referrals to Wealth Management.


Licenses:


Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry Identifier is required.
