Position: Wealth Management Advisor

Location: New York, NY (Hybrid Schedule)

Compensation: $130k-$170k base salary plus performance bonuses (Total compensation potential of $200k)

Our client, a prominent and reputable Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) and Wealth Management firm, is seeking a seasoned, client-oriented Wealth Management Advisor to develop and execute comprehensive financial strategies while collaborating with both internal and external partners.

Key Responsibilities:

The Wealth Management Advisor will cater to a portfolio of High Net Worth (HNW) and Ultra High Net Worth (UHNW) clients, working in close partnership with internal investment specialists. Responsibilities include:

  • Client Relationship Management: Serve as a primary contact for clients, engaging in meaningful discussions to foster long-term relationships and ensure exceptional client care.
  • Financial Strategy Development: Craft holistic financial strategies tailored to clients' aspirations and situations, encompassing:
    • Identifying clients' goals and objectives
    • Tax Optimization Strategies
    • Asset and Liability Management
    • Insurance and Risk Assessment
    • Retirement, Educational, and Special Needs Planning
    • Cash Flow Analysis
    • Estate Planning
    • Investment Strategy
  • Client Service Excellence: Deliver personalized, consultative service that surpasses client expectations.
  • Presentation Preparation: Develop customized presentations and materials for client meetings.
  • Project Contribution: Engage in company initiatives and projects as required.
  • Travel: Occasional travel may be necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in comprehensive financial planning, demonstrating the ability to collaborate with internal teams and manage HNW and UHNW client relationships, with a strong emphasis on estate planning.
  • Possession of the CFP designation.
  • Experience in leading or participating in client meetings.
  • Extensive background in serving UHNW clients, particularly in generational wealth management and preservation.
  • Bachelor's degree in finance or a related field.
  • Strong financial planning acumen, analytical skills, and judgment.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, with a talent for simplifying complex financial concepts for clients.
  • Familiarity with financial planning software; experience with eMoney is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel; tech-savvy.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and self-motivated.
  • A collaborative team player, capable of working effectively with colleagues across various branches.
  • Highly organized with the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Exemplary integrity, professionalism, and polished demeanor.
