This integrated division serves ultra-high-net-worth individuals and family offices through Citi Private Bank, addresses affluent and high-net-worth segments via Citigold and Citigold Private Client, and facilitates wealth management within the workplace through Citi Global Wealth at Work.

Role of Citi Global Wealth at Work: Citi Global Wealth at Work is tailored to support professionals such as lawyers, accountants, asset managers, and management experts with specialized industry knowledge to help navigate their financial aspirations. Clients can access a variety of responsive banking, investment, wealth management, and planning services, along with a dedicated Private Banker. Additionally, we extend our support to firms, offering specialized capabilities for both organizations and their employees, whether through access to a Private Banker as a corporate benefit or financing solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively identify potential clients and establish meaningful connections to convert prospects into loyal clients.
  • Exhibit a comprehensive understanding of clients' businesses and their wealth generation sources.
  • Anticipate significant financial events in clients' lives and businesses.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, providing strategic financial advice to clients.
  • Foster intergenerational relationships with client families to build lasting connections with Citi Private Bank.
  • Manage client expectations effectively regarding service capabilities.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of client objectives and risk tolerance to ensure appropriate financial strategies.
  • Identify unexpressed needs of clients to provide tailored solutions.
  • Collaborate with product experts to develop long-term solutions that enhance client relationships.
  • Assist clients in achieving comprehensive financial and investment goals related to wealth creation and management.
  • Set ambitious goals, regularly assess progress, and adjust strategies to meet objectives.
  • Plan and prioritize activities to optimize revenue growth and client satisfaction.
  • Establish a referral network to generate new business opportunities.
  • Negotiate effectively to close deals while aligning with the interests of Citi Private Bank.
  • Support team members in gaining the experience necessary to build credibility with clients.
  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to team success, prioritizing collective goals over individual achievements.
  • Encourage collaboration among team members to deepen client relationships and exceed sales targets.
  • Partner with support groups within Citi Private Bank to maintain control and resolve issues efficiently.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of relevant experience.
  • Extensive experience in Private Banking, particularly with the UHNW market.
  • Proven track record in leading client teams and transactions.
  • Demonstrated success in relationship selling.
  • In-depth knowledge of Citi Private Bank's banking systems and product offerings.
  • Fluency in a foreign language, as required.
  • Creative and innovative mindset.
  • Able to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Team-oriented with strong communication skills.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders.
  • Proficient in IT skills, including Excel and Word.
  • Possess necessary qualifications and/or licenses for regulated roles.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
