Overview

As a Wealth Management Advisor at Manning & Napier Advisors, you will engage with our diverse clientele while fostering new connections across various sectors, including affluent individuals, charitable organizations, corporate entities, and retirement plans. Our comprehensive financial services encompass: retirement strategy, cash-flow analysis, estate planning consultations, tax optimization, and insurance guidance.

You will be an integral member of an advisory team dedicated to maintaining ongoing communication with clients, ensuring they remain aligned with their individual financial aspirations. This role is centered around consultative sales, with an emphasis on promoting our advisory services and investment solutions to expand our client base over time. You will report directly to the Managing Director of Wealth Management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and nurture trust with clients to act as their primary advisor for wealth management
  • Engage in discussions regarding client investment objectives, considering risk tolerance, asset allocation, cash flow needs, tax implications, and potential life changes
  • Collaborate with the advisory team to execute investment strategies and manage necessary adjustments
  • Oversee client investment portfolios and assess performance metrics
  • Provide clients with insights on significant factors affecting their investments
  • Offer guidance to high net worth clients and consult with mid-market institutional clients as required
  • Facilitate the development of comprehensive wealth management strategies for individuals
  • Coordinate the preparation of consulting reports for institutional clients
  • Effectively present financial plans to clients
  • Proactively identify new business opportunities
  • Acquire in-depth knowledge of our financial planning software and technology
  • Maintain accurate records of all client and prospect interactions using our CRM system
  • Participate in regular team meetings
  • Adapt your schedule to meet client needs
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in financial consulting
  • Possession of Series 6, 63, & 65 or Series 7 & 66 licenses, or willingness to obtain upon hire
  • Certified Financial PlannerTM designation or similar professional certification preferred, or a commitment to pursue such a designation
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, Sales Navigator, and LinkedIn is advantageous
  • A proven track record of generating new business is a plus
