Position Overview


Israel Discount Bank of New York, a mid-sized financial entity, is seeking Wealth Management Advisors with an established client portfolio to drive the bank's strategic expansion in key regions.

We are looking for professionals who can leverage their expertise in wealth management and financial consulting to serve clients, their families, and businesses effectively. You will oversee client relationship profitability and portfolio risk while being accountable for the growth of your portfolio.

Wealth Management Advisors deliver financial solutions by utilizing both the bank's resources and those of external providers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify potential new clients and cultivate mutually beneficial and profitable relationships.
  • Act as the primary business development officer, focusing on client acquisition and cross-selling of deposits, loans, and investment services.
  • Enhance the balance sheet and profit & loss of your team.
  • Proactively advise and consult with clients, elucidating available financial services, educating them on investment options and associated risks, and recommending suitable investments.
  • Monitor client account performance to ensure alignment with clients' needs and positive outcomes.
  • Stay informed about market conditions and conduct research to identify opportunities that align with Private Banking revenue objectives.
  • Collaborate closely with Private Banking Assistants to manage client accounts efficiently.
  • Ensure adherence to all policies, procedures, regulations, audit standards, and risk guidelines.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in credit and lending for high-net-worth individuals within Private Banking and/or Wealth Management.
  • FINRA Series 7 and 66/63 securities licenses are advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Demonstrated experience in deposit gathering.
  • Understanding of underwriting processes for business and real estate loans.
  • Knowledge of federal lending regulations.
  • Strong comprehension of banking, brokerage, and lending products.
  • Experience in addressing the financial needs of high-net-worth clients.
  • Exceptional business development and marketing capabilities.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage expectations effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Compensation

The anticipated annual base salary for this role ranges from $150,000 to $250,000 at the commencement of employment.

Salary offers are determined on an individual basis, considering factors such as skills, experience, and client portfolio.

In addition to base salary, our comprehensive rewards package includes eligibility for incentive compensation, medical, pharmacy, dental, and vision plans, life and disability insurance, employee wellness programs, retirement and savings plans with employer contributions, generous holiday and paid time off schedules, parental leave, and tuition reimbursement.
