Job Summary:

Sea Mar Community Health Centers is seeking a qualified Group Life Counselor to join our Behavioral Health Department in Seattle. The successful candidate will provide direct services to patients in a residential setting, including group care, intake procedures, evaluation, individual and group counseling, milieu management, and supervision of patients.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct services to patients in a residential setting, including group care, intake procedures, evaluation, individual and group counseling, milieu management, and supervision of patients.
  • Work closely with the multi-disciplinary treatment team to provide comprehensive care to patients.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans that address the physical, emotional, and social needs of patients.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families on substance abuse and mental health issues.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Sociology, Human Services, or related field.
  • At least two years of experience working with high-risk youth or adults.
  • Must have and maintain CPR Certification every two years and First-Aid every three years.
  • Must have a Washington State driver's license if applicable.
