We are seeking an Associate Personal Banker to join our team in the Consumer, Small & Business Banking division. As a Personal Banker, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional customer experience and building strong relationships with our clients.

Job Summary

This role involves participating in the delivery of personalized banking services to our customers. You will be responsible for building relationships, proposing suitable products and services, and assisting with basic requests related to account opening, service requests, and credit applications.

As a Personal Banker, you will interact with customers to understand their financial needs and provide solutions that meet their requirements. You will also work closely with internal partners to refer customers to other bankers and partners as needed.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Build relationships with customers through proactive outreach and propose suitable products and services.
  2. Assist customers with basic requests related to account opening, service requests, and credit applications.
  3. Develop an understanding of bank products and services to connect with customers' needs.
  4. Interact with customers to demonstrate care and build strong relationships.
  5. Provide options for bank products and services to customers.
  6. Refer customers' financial needs to other bankers and partners as needed.
Requirements
  1. 6+ months of interacting with customers experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
Preferred Qualifications
  1. Customer service focus with experience handling complex transactions across multiple systems.
  2. Experience proactively engaging with customers through outreach via phone or email.
  3. Ability to educate and connect customers to technology and share the value of mobile banking options.
  4. Ability to help customers succeed financially by offering introductions to additional team members as appropriate.
  5. Experience working with others on a team to meet customer needs.
  6. Experience fostering and developing strong customer relationships.
  7. Ability to build strong relationships with internal partners.
  8. Ability to follow policies, procedures, and regulations.
  9. Ability to identify potential fraud/risky accounts and take appropriate action to prevent loss.
  10. Ability to interact with integrity and professionalism with customers and team members.
