POSITION SUMMARY: SABG is seeking a Logistics Analyst (Basic) to provide support to the Missile Defense Agency (MDA).

  • Adhere to established protocols and resolve routine challenges related to product support management.
  • Assist team members in determining requirements for cataloging, issuing, storing, transferring, disposing, and managing spare parts and equipment.
  • Exhibit the capability to analyze and execute logistics planning efforts, including Packaging, Handling, Storage, & Transportation (PHS&T) and Maintenance Management.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in analyzing statutory and regulatory guidance.

SUPERVISORY ROLE: This position does not entail supervisory responsibilities.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Candidates should possess expertise in Strategic Planning, Programmatic and Communication techniques to support stakeholder needs. Relevant knowledge and the ability to collaborate within a team to address complex issues are essential. A mid-level understanding of Microsoft Office and Adobe software suites is required. Successful performance of essential duties is expected.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Degree requirements: BA/BS in logistics acquisition, operation, sustainment, or a related field with no prior experience; OR AA/AS in logistics acquisition, operation, sustainment, or a related field with three years of relevant experience.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple projects, possessing excellent communication skills, and able to interact effectively with various management levels.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • Proficient in operating a personal computer and standard office equipment.
  • Exceptional writing skills are essential.

COMPUTER SKILLS:

  • Proficiency in operating a personal computer and standard office equipment.
  • Familiarity with various software applications for word processing, spreadsheets, and databases (MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
